Yoga uses the body to connect with the mind and the inner self, while pilates uses the mind to connect with the inner workings of the body. Come join us in beautiful Molde, Norway, to combine these two timeless practices through a series of intensive Teacher Training. Successful completion of all modules will enable you to design and teach Pilates and Yoga classes suitable for a variety of students. Strengthen your body, mind, and spirit, deepen your practice, and learn new skills while enjoying a beautiful setting and a supportive community.
This teacher training is divided into three modules: 50 hours of Pilates Teacher Training from June 1-5, 100 hours of Yoga Teacher Training from June 6-16, and an additional 100 hours of Yoga Teacher Training from August 1-10.
The Pilates Teacher Training will enable students to design and teach Pilates sequences. The first YTT will cover the fundamentals of asana, pranayama, meditation, and anatomy. The second YTT module will focus on sequencing, building teaching experience, and developing an individual's voice and style.
Students are welcome to attend any or all of the modules. Completion of both Yoga Teacher Training makes a student eligible for Yoga Alliance certification as a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher.
The Pilates Teacher Training will cover the 50 preparation Pilates exercises and 34 original Pilates mat exercises in the correct order. Beginners will gain familiarity with Pilates and how to incorporate these exercises into their personal practice. More experienced yoga teachers, physiotherapists, personal trainers, and group fitness trainers will be able to design their own sequences or incorporate elements into their own classes. These 50 hours of Pilates Teacher Training will elevate your practice and teaching without injury.
The Yoga Teacher Training will cover asanas, anatomy, physiology, history, ethics, and professional practices. In the first part of the training, students will learn how to do 45 different poses, as well as different meditation styles and pranayama practices. The second part of the training allows students to practice teaching and sequencing these poses. Beginners will learn the fundamentals of each pose and how to teach them safely. More advanced practitioners and teachers will deepen their understanding and appreciation of this ancient art of movement and integration.
The full 200 hours of Yoga Teacher Training meets the requirements for Yoga Alliance certification. Upon completion, students will be able to teach a variety of styles for different abilities.
Attending all the Teacher Training modules will give a student the tools to transform their body and daily routine. This training will help students understand how to combine the principles of Pilates and Yoga into a practice that strengthens the core, lengthens the body, and improves overall alignment and vitality.
