Additional activities:
Visit the Monastery of Panagia Hozoviotissa
It is a 30-minute driving distance from the hotel. A perfect blend of nature and the beauty of man's creation, the monastery symbolizes man's tribute to the Holy Mother. Built on the edge of a cliff, it provides a breathtaking view of the sparkling cerulean waters of the Aegean Sea. It is, undoubtedly, the pride of Amorgos, with its pristine walls lined with portraits of monks and other leaders, the smell of incense, and numerous little treasures. Being a place of remarkable historical relevance, a dress code requires men to wear trousers and women's long skirts. Visitors are greeted first by signs reminding them of the dress code and then by monks, who act as guardians of this architectural marvel. Visitors are offered psimeni raki shots and loukoumi to help them recharge after the demanding climbing.
Visit Aegialis:
It is a 50 min walking distance from the hotel. Though Aegiali is often referred to as the whole area, including Ormos Aegialis, Potamos, and Lagada, Ormos Aegiali is the heart of the village and a top choice of travelers due to its beach, cafés, bars, and tavernas. Close to Aegiali, there are plenty of beaches and other small villages to visit, while the whole area of Aegiali is a perfect spot for hiking.
